What is DTG printing?
DTG printing is the digital direct injection (digital printing) process. It refers to using a digital printer to print the required patterns on various textile materials directly. The micro-piezoelectric print head of the inkjet printer is used to spray special textile ink on the fabric’s surface. And a new printing process that penetrates the fiber and fixes the color.
What are the advantages of DTG printing?
1. Low start-up costs: Upload the design in DTG printing, and it’s ready to use. This differs from other, more time-consuming methods that require templates and other tools to be made before printing can begin.
2. High-quality printed products: DTG printing enables high-resolution image output. It can print detailed designs, patterns, and images on textiles, including smooth gradients of color, contoured lines, and intricate illustrations. This makes DTG printing ideal for applications that require beautiful photos, such as artwork, photography, or brand advertising.
3. HIGH COMFORT: DTG printing has a soft and smooth texture because the ink is absorbed directly into the fabric fibers. This ensures that the printed design does not add any noticeable weight or stiffness to the garment. The result is a comfortable, hard-wearing print that retains the natural feel of the fabric.
4. More environmentally friendly: Compared with methods such as dye sublimation and screen printing, the DTG printing process is more environmentally friendly. New technologies developed by DTG will also become more and more ecologically friendly in the future.
