What is DTF PET film?
DTF PET film refers to a film used for DTF thermal customization. DTF PET film is a clear film used to transfer designs from printed film to fabric.
The film is usually made of polyester terephthalate (polyethylene terephthalate), or PET for short. PET is a plastic polymer widely evaluated in the packaging, printing and textile industries.
What are the characteristics of DTF PET film?
DTF PET film has the following characteristics:
Transparency: DTF PET film is transparent and can clearly show the design pattern printed on the film. This allows the operator to accurately locate and position the pattern, ensuring correct transfer of the pattern.
Heat resistance: DTF PET film has good heat resistance and can withstand high temperatures during hot pressing. This is because the PET material has a relatively high melting point and can reach the required temperature in a heat press while maintaining the heat resistance of the film.
Stability: DTF PET film has extremely high habit and tear resistance properties. Once the design is successfully transferred to the tissue, the film can provide an additional layer of protection, adding to the pattern’s firmness and durability.
Strong ink adsorption: DTF PET film usually has good ink adsorption properties, which is conducive to the full transfer of ink to the fabric during the hot pressing process, achieving high-quality ink transfer.
