- Prepare the machine and supplies. You can prepare DTF inks and their associated printing equipment for purchase from Winnerjet.
- Design preparation. Use specialized software to print, resize, and format your design.
- Load DTF film. Place the DTF film in the printer roll holder with the print side facing up.
- Print design. Adjust the print parameters and print the design on the transfer film using DTF ink.
- Apply powder. While the ink is wet, evenly cover the printed pattern with DTF hot melt powder and shake off the excess powder.
- Curing the powder. Adjust the oven temperature and time as the hot melt powder cures on the design.
- Heat transfer. Heat the heat press to 320°F (160°C) and press with medium pressure for 15-30 seconds to transfer the pattern to the fabric.
- Peel off the DTF film. After the temperature cools down, peel the DTF film from the fabric.
- Inspection. Inspect the pattern on the fabric for any defects.
